Casey Reeve
Principal Psychologist (PSY0001812951)
Casey, the founder of Reeve Psychology, has 12 years experience in the psychology field. Starting out as a girl's gymnastics coach in 2004, Casey quickly grew her love for connecting with others and being a safe person for them to confide in. Her passion for working with young people through coaching led her into the School Psychology field in 2013, where Casey practiced for over 7 years. However, becoming a single mother of two (four if you count her much needier dogs), led Casey to seeking private practice work to both slow her schedule and grow her passion for individual work.
Casey is passionate about normalising her client's thoughts, feelings, and experiences, as she believes somewhere along the way we forgot what it means to be human. To be human means to be messy, emotional, apprehensive, and lost at times. Just as we wouldn't question our stomach if it grumbled or fear laughing every day for a month, Casey is passionate about helping her clients to trust all of their emotions in the same way. Emotions are to be seen as feedback instead of something to fear or question. Not without her own struggles and previous battles with mental health, Casey brings a humanness and connection to her therapy, allowing her energy to make her clients feel safe, warm, and welcomed.
